This tiny pitcher has a dark clay exterior with light brown brushed elements running horizontally at the top, and facing vertically at the bottom. The interior is coated in a sheer layer of glaze to retain the dark color of the clay. The top lip has a single small divot to allow pouring.

Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Approx. 2 1/2" height x 2 3/4" bottom diameter, 1 1/4" top diameter

Sue Stein's work is primarily a response to years of thinking about form and function. Having developed a love for photography and printmaking but needing to get her hands more involved in the process,she found pottery to be a perfect medium to explore. Each piece is hand thrown, trimmed and glazed as one-of-a-kind. The surface design allows Stein to use my years of printmaking to feel comfortable scratching right onto the clay or underglaze depending on the clay body. There is a visceral response she never tires of. All pieces are food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
