Grant-Norén Frames

Ingela Norén and Daniel Grant's partnership began in Pietrasanta, Italy as marble sculptors. Ingela Norén, a renowned and published weaver, studied faux finish techniques in Sweden, her native country. Daniel Grant, made custom furniture and cabinets before joining Ingela in creating their combined artistic venture.

In Scandinavia, craftsmen imitated exotic stones and wood on furniture and throughout building interiors. Perfect representation was less important than showing artistic craftsmanship. They continue this thread of tradition with a fresh contemporary spin.
