Blueberry Road

Brenda Olson is the Artist and Owner at Blueberry Road Cards + Gifts. Brenda lives and works in Hudson, Wisconsin, and creating a business selling her art on fun products that can be enjoyed and shared is her dream. 

She considers herself a self-taught artist, although she minored in art in college. She also attended the ‘women’s art institute’, a unique immersion into art making with other women artists in 2018. She worked for many years as an occupational therapist where she enjoyed integrating art into her practice with kids and adults. In this season of her life, she is sinking deep into art making.

In addition to her card business, she loves to make art in so many ways and for so many reasons! She has tons of sketchbooks and art journals. This is a great way to be curious, explore ideas and art materials, and develop visual skill. She interested in creating pieces for gallery and art shows too. She tends to use mixed media including, paint, pencil, and collage, and also loves working with found objects.
